Meeting the Challenges of the Airway
The patented Parker Flex-Tip Tracheal Tube
has a soft, fl exible, curved, centered, distal tip that is designed to prevent trauma.
ParkerFlex-Tip™ Tracheal Tube
Parker ThinCuff® Tracheal Tubes
Parker ThinCuffs are made of polyurethane instead of PVC, and are much thinner than the PVC membrane typically used to form conventional ET tube cuffs. The thinner, more pliable polyurethane cuff membrane is designed to provide a gentle cuff seal against the tracheal wall at a lower intracuff pressure.
The Parker Flex-It Articulating Stylet can be used for nasal, as well as oral, intubation, and does not require a fi xed curvature throughout the intubation. Easy thumb action allows tube curvature to be continuously varied from outside the mouth during the intubation to enable the tube to follow the curvature of the airway. At the end of the intubation, the tube curvature can easily be released, to allow the tube to straighten and slide down the straight trachea, without removing the stylet from the tube until the intubation is complete. The one-handed operation of the Parker stylet is designed to facilitate quick, accurate intubation. It is especially helpful for intubating diffi cult airways due to exaggerated airway curvatures and very anterior larynges.
