Travel and fashion: a perfect match if ever there was one. And I was in the thick of things at London Fashion Week at the Sass & Bide show. This dynamic Aussie design duo are very savvy and have shrewdly sealed a deal with Qantas – and with all those long-haul flights from Australia to Europe a few times a year they certainly need a nice comfy lie-flat bed. At the show I ran into Made in Chelsea’s Millie Macintosh (and girlfriend of rapper Professor Green) and then found myself seated right behind Pixie Lott. The cherry on the top was spotting one of the most stylish women in the world, Olivia Palermo. Now that’s what I call a good night out!

This country has the second largest population of any Spanish-speaking country in the world, and is the 27th largest by population. It has a fast growing economy and its main industries include coffee, flowers, emeralds, coal and oil. While in the past it has been plagued by safety and security problems, today it

is more stable and the country is poised to play a big role in regional development. Tourism is growing quickly, with many tourists drawn to its numerous festivals, and to its Caribbean beaches. Top attractions include the walled city and beaches of Cartagena and the colonial town of Santa Fe de Antioquia.

airport on Valentine’s Day. Claudia Winkleman (above) was on hand to match the potential lovebirds up before they jetted off to Los Angeles in the airline’s so-called Cuddle Class (see below competition). That got me to thinking who would I like to cuddle with on a flight? Let’s see... obvs the list is a long one, but top of it would be Simon Reeve (who has a firm travel connection through Kuoni and his Indian Oceanseries). Swoon!
