918D-ST Series Wand Photodiode Sensors
Newport Corporation has introduced its 918D-ST series wand photodiode sensors. The new design features a thin profile wand detector in a metal housing with integrated calibration-data storage and an automatic OD3 attenuator on/ off position sensor.
The series features built-in temperature-sensing electronics to compensate for temperature variation. The 918D-ST-IR wand operates from 780nm to 1800nm, the 918D-ST-SL from 400nm to 1100nm, and the 918D-ST-UV from 200nm to 1100nm. The wand detectors are
available for shipping with a NIST-traced calibration report that details individual detector responsivity.

sinusoidal motion. The mirror assembly is attached at the centre of a taut band spring.
The scanning frequency range of the SC-2 type scanner is from 100Hz to 1,000Hz, fixed at any one value within the range. The scan angle is inversely proportional to the frequency, and is a function
of the mirror size. The standard operating temperature is 0°C to 55°C.
The scanner is suitable for dedicated, high volume, OEM industrial applications, and can be incorporated into very small systems and portable instruments.
