Gold Guys Joe Beasy and Shane Maguire

Do you have any broken or dated jewelry gathering dust? Here’s a great way to turn it into cash—immediately.

Five years after Minnesotans Joe Beasy and Shane Maguire opened their first “Gold Guys” store in the Mall of America, they’ve brought their popular concept to Rochester. Their store in Crossroads Plaza is their sixth location in Minnesota. Since they’re new to our community, Shop Rochester is pleased to introduce them to you. Here are answers to some common questions. To learn more, call Charlie or Lucas at the Rochester shop.

Gold Guys offer the highest purchase price, guaranteed.

Q: When selling my gold, what should I look for from a buyer (dealer)? Joe and Shane: Credibility! The Gold Guys is in its fifth year of business, but we’ve been doing business for over 20. We received the Gold and Silver Awards from TopTenREVIEWS for our reputability.

Q: Is the Gold Guys a pawn shop? Joe and Shane: No. We are a high-end, precious metal recycler dealer. We don’t sell or have any inventory. Don’t sell your gold to jewelry stores or pawn shops, as they won’t give you the best price. The Gold Guys offers the highest purchase price, guaranteed, since we don’t make our money off our initial buys from the seller.

Q: Is it still a good time to sell my gold with all the market corrections? Joe and Shane: There has never been a better time to sell gold! Even with all the election year market corrections, gold is still at an all time high. You need to take advantage while gold prices are peaked.
