We guarantee your bulbs and plants will arrive in excellent condition and will be true to name. If you have any doubts about quality when your planting stock arrives, tell us promptly. We’ll replace the unsatisfactory material or refund the full price and shipping, whichever you prefer. We reserve the right to re- quest return of the merchandise to re- ceive adjustments.
If any plant material fails during the growing season and we are notified within one year from date of shipment, we will replace it one time or issue a credit toward future orders provided the stock has been planted according to in- structions and in growing zones recom- mended in our catalog. Sale items will only be issued a credit voucher for the purchase price. We do not guarantee against losses due to weather, animals or other factors beyond our control.

ACHIMENES Top Size “Monkey-Faced Pansy” or “Orchid Pansy”
In the 1800’s achimenes were as widely culti- vated as the related African violets are today. Ideal pot plants due to their mounding or cascading habit, they are covered with 2 inch flowers from early spring to fall. The tubular or trumpet-shaped flowers have a broad face and are available in many jewel-like colors. Plant 5 to 6 of the scaly rhizomes in a 6 inch pot, give them light shade, keep them moist and enjoy. Also a good bedding plant for shady spots. [Ht: 6"-15", Bl: Summer, Zone: 10, SSH/SH]

A member of the iris family, native to southern and tropical areas of Africa. Sword-shaped leaves are similar to those of gladiolus but are narrower and more graceful. The sweetly fragrant 3 to 4 inch flowers

AGAPANTHUS Top Size Bareroot (except where noted) “African Lily”, “Lily of the Nile” Widely grown for their showy flowers, this South African genus is a tender perennial with a fleshy root. Rising above the clumps of dark green lance-like foliage are stiff, bare stalks that produce globe-shaped 4 to 8 inch flower heads. The many individual flowers are funnel-shaped and bloom for up to two months. Best grown in containers in colder areas so they can be brought indoors for cold periods.
