CROCOSMIA Size: 6cm/up (Syn. Montbretia) This cormous species is native to South Africa and in warmer climates will form large clumps. The gladiolus-like foliage fans around the branched, zig-zagging flower spikes. The long stems are lined with a profuse number of star-shaped, tubular flowers that open over a long period.

CYCLAMEN SPECIES Top Size


These members of the primrose fam- ily are hardy versions of florists’ cyclamen. Corms do not multiply, but increase in size from year to year, producing larger plants. Most are native to Europe and the Mediterranean area. Use: border, rckgdn, naturalizing.
