Where to Stay

Not far from the busy M25 motorway at Junction 10 we found a hidden gem - Foxhills Country Club & Resort, set in 400 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside. We were there for a weekend

break, catching up with a group of friends, playing golf, relaxing and taking advantage of the facilities that were on offer. Our large spacious room was fantastic, and the bathroom was as big as some London hotel bedrooms that I’ve stayed in, and with Elemis products and fluffy white bath robes my wife was suitably impressed. Double French doors led to our patio with a table and chairs and the shared outdoor swimming pool. The facilities on site are excellent, with a state of the art Gym, 4 pools, 11 tennis courts and two 18 hole Championship Golf courses that would challenge any keen golfer. For those with a little more energy to burn there’s a running track along side the Nature trail. The award winning healthspa provides Elemis spa treatments and spa breaks, where the facilities and treatments are superb and I am sure there’s something for everyone. Before dinner we met up for drinks at Bar Nineteen, which also serves lunches and main meals, and sometimes provides entertainment in the most relaxing surroundings. There are three Restaurants on site

Comfort in the Countryside

This issue we stay at the beautiful Foxhills Country Club & Resort, set in 400 acres of stunning Surrey countryside.

that cater for all occasions. We chose to have our evening meal in the Manor Restaurant, set inside the 19th Century Victorian Manor Building, a grand location for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu was nicely varied and the service we received was excellent - you would struggle to find a better breakfast anywhere. We were spoilt for choice from smoked haddock, salmon and kippers to cold meats, continental or the traditional full English.

Foxhills has a motto: “When you leave, we hope you feel better than when you arrived”. We certainly did, and we’re looking forward to another visit to this special hotel.
