On Sweden’s Åre ski slopes Pharos LPCs not only control the lighting, they also monitor the system’s temperature, power and network status. The controllers email the data enabling Stockholm Lighting Company to solve potential problems quickly. SLC’s Ian Fanning explains: “Providing system-wide fault reporting builds a strong client/supplier relationship; we know about problems before they do. I’m taking the logic built into the Pharos controllers and putting it to additional use. It’s all about giving the client peace of mind.”
