British Airways is spreading its wings with a new venture into Sri Lanka. The new route from London Gatwick to Colombo, via Male in the Maldives will launch on April 14, 2013. The service will leave London at 19.35pm on
Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, year-round, and leave Sri Lanka on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing at 14.15pm. The new route will utilise the Boeing 777 which currently operates on the Malé route and will carry a three-cabin confi guration.
