In addition to Rotana’s success with the Travel Agents Choice Awards, President and CEO, Mr. Selim El Zyr, picked up another accolade this November, a Lifetime Achievement Award at the WTM Global Awards. Speaking at the trade show, Mr. Selim said Rotana would not be easing its aggressive growth strategy in 2013. “Our aim is to open a Rotana-managed property in all the major cities throughout the Middle East and Africa region, and beyond, within the next fi ve years,” he said. The fi ve-star Salalah Rotana Resort is set to open in 2013 in Oman and other properties on the horizon will cover destinations such as Turkey and Mauritania.
