Gas chromatography valves

Innovative valves and fittings developed for gas chromatography and sampling systems are now offered by Boiswood following the addition of Analytical Flow Products as an equipment supplier. The advanced features of the GC diaphragm valves include purge grooves

which produce greater sensitivity and eliminate permeation and inboard/ outboard contamination. They also allow vacuum

operation and can create an inert atmosphere under the diaphragm in hazardous operations. Their design produces

minimal unswept dead volume which maximises chromatographic performance, making it possible to analyse samples reliably in the parts per trillion range. Available in 316L stainless

steel or aluminium, depending on the level of performance

required, Boiswood says the valves allow real-time monitoring to indicate their operational status. AFP valves, actuators, pumps and fittings are suitable for industrial

applications as well as analytical laboratory instruments. For more information, visit www.boiswood.co.uk
