Previously known as United Cerebral Palsy of Pittsburgh, the United Cerebral Palsy/ Community Living and Support Services (UCP/CLASS) of Pittsburgh was founded in 1951, and is the driving force for social, rec- reational and residential services for adults and children with Cerebral Palsy. The organization has expanded beyond the Pittsburgh area and strives to help everyone fi nd his or her place in a community. The organization changed its name and its
headquarters with the purchase of a former grocery store to centralize the group’s offi ces into one location.
SPRINGBOARD Design, Pittsburgh, needed
to design a contemporary, LEED Silver offi ce. As a result, Cuddy Roofi ng Co. Inc., Pittsburgh, installed metal wall panels from Allentown, Pa.-based ATAS International Inc. The project includes 2,240 square feet of 0.040-inch alumi- num Span Wall Perforated (BWS240) panels in Ascot White, and 850 square feet of 24-gauge steel Opaline (OPF080) panels in Black and Ascot White.
