Specsavers everywoman in Retail Award Finalists Announced

UK female business community, everywoman, has announced the finalists of Specsavers everywoman in Retail Awards. The finalists will all be a wonderful demonstration of the exciting opportunities available for women looking to develop a rewarding career in the retail industry. The Awards were originally launched as a way of addressing the lack of women in senior roles in the retail sector by highlighting those women who had already made names for themselves in the industry. Now in it’s fifth year, the Awards are really beginning to help address this imbalance. Maxine Benson MBE, cofounder of

everywoman, states: “These finalists demonstrate that, despite the challenging economic climate, determination, hard work and leadership can underpin commercial success, and they are a shining example to others looking to make their mark.” For a full list of finalists, head to our website, www.a1retailmagazine.com. Winners will be announced on 13th September at a ceremony at The Savoy, London.
