Risk management plan for US manufacturer WSP completed an H&S review for an international fluorescent dye manufacturer based in the USA following an OSHA inspection, violation identification and proposed penalty. A thorough job hazard analysis of each R&D and manufacturing process was conducted to determine potential risks and remedies. Subsequently, we prepared a hazard communication plan and protocols.
Training programmes for handling of dangerous goods For a range of confidential industrial clients with global supply chains we offer complete and tailored dangerous goods handling and management training programmes to enable them to operate in confidence. Our programmes include Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor warehouse and haulier audits in line with UK and European road regulations. We are also qualified to teach Civil Aviation Authority approved courses and international maritime dangerous goods training.
Asset EHS Management
Our services relate to hazardous materials, mould, and fire risk. Our certified industrial hygienists (CIH), Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) and ergonomists work closely with in-house asbestos specialists and mechanical and electrical engineers, to offer a total asset management solution. Our experience includes:
Asbestos surveys for Middle East based energy producer In 2012, as part of a wider Occupational Health Risk Assessment (OHRA), WSP was appointed to provide asbestos management surveys to the asset portfolio of a major oil and gas company based in the Middle East. The project involved the asbestos inspection of 31 off-shore platforms, and an island which housed a petrochemical processing plant located in the Arabian Gulf.
International finance giant outsources H&S We have a proven outsourcing model for facility H&S services. For an international banking organisation we have a team embedded into the client’s operations.
