Inside Sales: On the ground with Junior

Achievement Slovakia AT&T has a growing partnership with Junior Achievement Slovakia (JAS), a non- governmental organization dedicated to prepping young people for the world of work.

As Dusan Borsovsky explains,

AT&T demonstrated its continued commitment to JAS through two major events: ‘Student Companies Expo ’12’ and ‘Welcome To Our Region’ – which took place on April 13.

‘Welcome To Our Region’ is professional training with a compelling twist. A nationwide competition of 50 youthful teams battling it out for real prizes (and, of course, glory!) ensures this event is one of a kind.

‘Student Companies Expo ‘12’ is an event showcasing students’ hard work at the culmination of their Applied Economics courses.

‘Student Companies Expo ‘12’ was organized with the support of the President of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Gasparovic, and supported by major players in the commercial and public sectors in Slovakia.

AT&T was delighted to be involved in such an innovative event that strived to engage young people by channeling their creative energies and growing their team-work skills: all great experience for their professional lives.
