A Good Yarn is an ideal haven for those of the woolly persuasion. Kate provides wonderful customer service and the shop itself is just beautifully set out.


There is a wide choice from Rowan, including new Spring Summer yarns Wool Cotton 4ply, Summerspun and Creative Linen. There is also a fine selection of patterns and books to check out.


We are also very proud of our lovely community of knitters and crocheters; who meet on the “Knot Just Knitting” days, all very friendly and willing to give any advice needed.


There are regular and varied workshops for all levels; including learn to knit and crochet days. Definitely worth a drop in just to soak in all the lovely yarniness!
