CELEBRATES WITH US IN OUR CENTENNIAL YEAR


Stars of the British Printing Industry


STEPHENS & GEORGE PRINT GROUP RETURNED FOR THE SIXTH SUCCESSIVE YEAR TO PUBLISHING EXPO WITH A UNIQUE APPROACH IN OUR CENTENARY YEAR


Publishing Expo is considered to be the stand- out show to be at and is the UK’s only multi-platform publishing event. The two day show took place in Earls Court on the 28th and 29th of February. On our custom built stand we decided to promote ourselves as “The Stars of the British Printing Industry,” with all S&G personnel getting into the swing of things. With the men wearing black tie and the ladies dressed in evening gowns, we popped open the champagne and toasted our century in the industry. There was a genuine party atmosphere with many of our clients and friends joining us over the course of the two day show for a glass of bubbly.


With a black and gold theme running throughout, our stand was one of the main attractions at Publishing


Expo. There was an S&G timeline illustration which highlighted major dates over the past one hundred years within the Company and throughout the world. Proving that we don’t always take ourselves too


seriously, our designer imbedded images of certain S&G staff members onto the backdrop including sales managers dressed as Marilyn Monroe, Buzz Lightyear, Mary Poppins plus Andrew and Vanessa Jones posing as Danny and Sandy from Grease. Jon Howell Publishing Expo’s Event and Sales Manager commented, “Stephens & George Print Group were the first printer to support Publishing Expo when the event was launched back in 2006. The publishing world has changed dramatically in the last 6 years and Stephens & George have moved with it. It is testament to Andrew Jones and his senior management team that S&G are one of the first magazine printers that publishers will turn to when looking to place business. It is not just the quality of the end result that counts for S&G, but the quality of the customer service as well. They are winners in both counts. I was delighted to work with S&G on putting on a special show at Publishing Expo 2012 in
