First, travel products are becoming more prestigious. Today’s travellers are more concerned about the unique experience they can gain through the journey. Thus price is no longer an issue. Second, so-called ‘slow travel’ is more acceptable these days. Tired of sightseeing around the usual spots, rushing from one place to another is a thing of the past; people would rather spend the time learning about local customs and stay longer in one place in order to experience the joy of local life. The third trend is about travelling alone - the independent way to travel. Thus, today’s luxury travel products and experiences are increasingly set up to meet the demands of these three trends.
