“I couldn’t believe it! I hardly ever enter competitions, but this one sounded brilliant, so I just fired off my email entry and never really thought any more of it. I tried to call my husband Matt and
got his voicemail. I ran downstairs to tell the kids. We were all jumping up and down in the living room when Matt walked in. “What’s going on?” he asked. “We’ve won that Haven holiday thing from Littlewoods” I screamed back. “Holiday thing, what holiday thing?” enquired Matt, with an ever broadening smile. “The holiday with £700 to spend at Littlewoods – didn’t I tell you? It was a competition in my Littlewoods new things magazine” Steph replied. “What - and we’ve won it?” Matt asked, for complete clarification before he joined in the living room celebratory dance. There were a few weeks to go before
the holiday weekend, so Steph, husband Matt, Mackenzie their 9 year old daughter, 6 year old son Mitchell and 2½ year old daughter Ryleigh had plenty of time to pick what they wanted from Littlewoods. A brand new holiday wardrobe for all was on the cards! “We drove down to the Haven park
in Caister, Norfolk on the Easter bank holiday weekend, arriving on the Friday afternoon” explained Steph “We met up with Sharon the manager, who showed us to our holiday home. It was gorgeous, it had everything, TV, DVD, lovely furniture – the lot. Wow. I still couldn’t believe we were there. On holiday, in fab new clothes and none of it had cost us a penny! restaurant for our first evening meal. The food was fab. And I had forgotten that it was free too! After a walk along the beach it was
back to our holiday home, a DVD with the kids, then an early night for all. The next day started early. It always
does with excitable kids – even on holiday! At 10 o’clock we were meeting up with Adrian, a director who was coming to film us for the day. I must admit I was a bit nervous.
