Te Supreme Court’s silence regarding the applicable law in Venezuela to regulate IP matters creates an environment of uncertainty, leading to confusion and insecurity about IP rights.
Venezuela’s legislative body has announced that it is creating a new Intellectual Property Law. Tis will lead to erasing the current uncertainty. Te new law will be in accordance with international treaty principles.
