Casual apparel cataloguer Lands’ End, has hired Sara Prowse as managing director for its UK business. Prowse most recently held the position of brand director at Shop Direct Group, where she was responsible for the launch and running of isme.com.


Karen Millen has appointed former Long Tall Sally chief executive Sian Hession to the new role of global retail operations director. Her remit includes spearheading a new strategic initiative to extend the Karen Millen brand globally, including opening stores in London, New York, Los Angeles and Moscow as well as developing the brand’s website.


Raj Ramoutar, who previously held the roles of head of operations at Fortnum & Mason and head of mail order and web operations at Cath Kidston, has joined pottery firm Emma Bridgewater as head of logistics and customer service.


Former head of marketing at Secretsales.com Simon Hall has joined lingerie retailer Agent Provocateur as head of ecommerce.


Jewellery and watch retailer Beaverbrooks promoted operations director Daniel Brown to chief executive. In a further restructure, Beaverbrooks promoted third- generation family member and managing director Mark Adlestone to chairman, while incumbent chairman Andrew Brown remains as a director alongside Adlestone’s father Gerald.


Former TK Maxx managing director Susanne Givern has joined SuperGroup as chief operating officer. The owner of the Superdry brand has also named former Fat Face finance director Shaun Wills as chief financial officer. Further strengthening its team, Claire Arksey, most recently retail director at apparel retailer Reiss, joins as head of retail.


Luxury apparel etailer Net-a-Porter group named former Harper’s Bazaar UK editor-in-chief Lucy Yeomans as editor of Net-a-Porter.com.

Multichannel digital marketing specialist DC Storm appointed Anna Sjostrom Walton as marketing director to lead the company’s marketing and PR strategy.

Declan Delanty, formerly group finance director at Grafton Recruitment, has joined Folli Follie Group as chief financial officer for jewellery retailer Links of London.
