interview is one where the candidate is trying to put him or herself forward as someone different.

What advice would you give for somebody wanting a successful interview with Massive? The greatest thing you can do when showing up to the interview is to bring yourself. Show us who you are. We like people that are genuine. So what if you have quirks? It’s OK to love Morrowind to the point you can hardly stop talking about it. If you are really into some aspect of game programming or passionate about animating animals, or if you find inspiration in architecture and music, tell us. So the best thing you can do is to be yourself.

Massive’s a fairly large studio. Is there much staff community? Yes there is. We have football nights, board game evenings, guilds for the different disciplines, movie nights, parties and all sorts of other stuff happening here. We encourage this, and we also

have some days each year set aside for activities relating to this.

What fields in particular is Massive recruiting from in the coming weeks or months? We are always interested in talent across the board. But at the moment we are particularly interested in finding animators, online programmers and character artists.

NEW STUDIO ALERT!

And how many people are you looking to hire? During the coming nine months we are looking to expand our teams with another 30 people.

What makes Massive’s home city of Malmö a great place to live and work for your staff? Malmö is a very relaxed city with a lot of the services you typically see in larger cities. The things that I think stand out are the seaside location and the beach we have here, which really comes to life in the summer. The short distances between the

workplace and home too; I have a just a ten-minute bike ride to work, is also great.

And when Malmö is not enough

you have Copenhagen right across the bridge and the world just outside your door with Copenhagen International Airport a 20-minute train ride away. So, in essence the comfort of a

small town while having the advantages of a big city is what makes it great to live in Malmö.

Suit Zero the best game it can be” said Born Ready CEO James Brooksby. “It’s a labour of love for everyone

involved and we are very happy to be able to finish and self-publish it under the new banner of Born Ready. “We are at the birth of an exciting new development studio packed with

talented people who all share the company’s grand ambitions.” Catalis SE CEO Jeremy Lewis added:

“We wish Born Ready Games and Strike Suit Zero all the best, and are looking forward to seeing the result of a project we have been so closely involved in”.
