The CIM launches its new mentoring scheme at BUSINESS NORTH WEST, which aims to bring together CIM members in a supportive environment to learn, share and gain CPD points. This is a vital opportunity to meet with potential mentors in the insider Innovation Lounge between 12:00 and 14:00 on Tuesday 17 April.

Be sure to see how it is done with the pitching sessions running at 12:00 and 15:00 in the Angels Den theatre. PR Workshops
Manchester-based PR agency MC2, is hosting four workshops, helping you gain a better understanding of your PR campaign and activities.
Sessions are held at 10:00 and 13:30 on each day.
• Crisis communications – how to protect your brand in a crisis and manage the online environment.
• Become your own publisher – how to produce rich content and use the channels available.
• The power of internal communications – how to make your employees brand ambassadors.
• Handling the press – understand what the press are looking for and how to communicate more effectively with them.
Lions’ Lair
This hugely popular feature will see only the bravest exhibitors come before the Lions to showcase their best products in this Dragons’ Den style contest. Don’t miss the opportunity to join the action and cast your vote on who you think should win. The action takes place on Tuesday 17 April at 13:20 in the How To... learnShops Theatre.
6 Speed Networking
Be sure to take part in the Speed Networking sessions, run by 4Networking, for your opportunity to meet 60 potential new suppliers spending one minute with each. Sessions start at 12:00 and 15:00 on each day of the event. Make sure you arrive in plenty of time as this is very popular and is on a first come, first served basis.
Team-building Challenge 4 Change Activity Bus
Join in the fun and develop your team building skills with Challenge 4 Change double-decker activity extravaganza with a climbing frame on the side. The charity provides learning through fun by teaching effective communication skills, team skills, inspires confidence and motivation, and enables people to overcome their perceived barriers in order to progress.
