I knew that I wanted to work in Senior Management within the commercial sector, so having worked in assistant management
roles I decided to return to college and complete the Masters in Strategy and Innovation Management.
The Masters gave me a very clear understanding of my strengths and what direction I was moving in. I found the topics within the course modules, the interaction with lecturers and project work to be very fulfilling. The programme suited me as I enjoy a challenge and thrive on results.
I completed my thesis on Best Practice HR which has since has been used by companies. I became very confident in delivering professional presentations.
In addition to the modules specified here, learners on the programme must also undertake a research methodology module, a dissertation and, where possible, a work placement.
Learning Experience
Places on the programme are restricted to 25 students. The practical orientation of the programme will be further supported by seminars and lectures from various guest speakers. Students will also undertake applied projects, which will further enhance their employment on graduation.
