Learning Experience
With the most modern facilities and a highly dedicated teaching staff, the Higher Diploma in Arts in Education (Technology) offers a challenging yet thoroughly rewarding and enjoyable learning experience for all involved. The unique nature of this programme will combine in-class theory with carefully designed practical applied projects to ensure that learners can engage with the subject matter in a meaningful and comprehensive manner, best preparing them for their role as a teacher.
The small group sizes as well as the use of numerous teaching techniques will make for a varied and stimulating learning experience allowing the focus to consistently remain on the individual learner in a highly student- centered environment.
Almha Lonergan Graduate 2010
I enrolled on the Higher Diploma in Arts in Education (Technology)
programme in 2009. Returning to study was
a big decision, a challenge made slightly more difficult with taking on new subjects and modules, but the support from the staff involved in the programme was evident from day one. While the course was filled with new challenges and needed constant hard work, determination and dedication, it was also filled with new opportunities to learn and become an invaluable asset to a school community.
I am now employed as a teacher in a position which holds immense opportunity for growth and professional progression. I have no doubt that without the help and support of the staff at GMIT Letterfrack I would not be in this exciting position now.
