Prior experience of computer programming / software development is not required. Applicants with an equivalent Level 8 qualification and/or equivalent industrial experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Course Overview


The Higher Diploma in Science (Computing, Software Development) is a Level 8 post-graduate programme designed to provide honours graduates from other numerate disciplines with the knowledge, skill and competency required for graduate entry-level careers in computing and software development. The year-long duration of the course is comprised of two semesters of taught modules, followed by an industry placement, internship or in- house project.
