Heritage
A family-run business that started life as The Original UGG Co, we have been making our iconic sheepskin boots by hand since the 1970s in our factory in Newquay, Cornwall. We now produce 100,000 (and rising) pairs of boots and slippers a year and recently had to expand into larger premises. Our original bestseller, the Celt Boot, set the benchmark for craftsmanship and attention to detail, and has since been joined by an extensive collection of other fashionable products, including seasonal clothes and accessories.
Quality
We’re proud to say that the vast majority of our boots and slippers are made using genuine British sheepskins. These premium skins are a by-product of the food industry, so you can shop with a clear conscience. All our footwear is double-stitched for extra durability. New styles are developed in-house with prototypes, followed by stringent user trials to ensure they meet our exacting standards. The natural materials and production of our clothing ranges are also subject to the strictest quality controls.

Eco-friendliness
You’ll be reassured to know that Celtic Sheepskin is officially recognised as an eco-friendly company in accordance with International Environmental Standards ISO 14001. Our factory’s energy requirements are low, waste is kept to a minimum and we use fully recycled packaging. We always try to source our quality materials from suppliers within the UK or Europe, in order to both boost the local economy and reduce our carbon footprint. You can even order your goods from us using a carbon-neutral delivery system.
