SOUTHERN ELECTRONICS REVIEW SHOWCASE
Advertorial TGMC and
Partner Electronics launch complete
design-to-manufacturing service A
t Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2012 Design specialist Partner Electronics Limited (PEL) and contract manufacturing provider Thames Gateway Manufacturing Centre Ltd (TGMC) launched their recently announced partnership offering a complete development service.
partnership offers customers a ‘one-stop shop’ for all their electronic development and production needs.
The collaboration provides PEL’s customers with direct access to a highly efficient and modern UK-based PCB assembly facility and
customers’ access to a full multidiscipline electronics and software design service. The new UK-based electronic design-to-manufacturing service offers consistency from conception right through to production, both simplifying the process and reducing administrative effort and costs and offers a strong and competitive UK based design, development and production capability.
O Electronics have good reason to celebrate following a successful exhibition at this year’s Southern Manufacturing Show 2012.
Our approach was simple, we strongly believe that for a business to succeed at show level, they need to have more than a roller banner and placards but a unique and innovative approach to exhibitions which delivers a memorable and long lasting impression,
achieving your set objectives. We surpassed this by introducing fully functioning technology to our display which utilised an ANPR
camera, used in the London congestion charge, pointed at a Scalextric track which, in-turn captured miniature number plates as the cars whizzed by displaying driver information on a large screen. From the camera’s populated PCB’s & cables through to the particular makes of car flying round our track, IO Electronics builds the majority of these parts to the highest quality expected for these types of product.
Inclusive of pit-crew shirts and a racing ‘Join the Winning Team’ theme, this was an instant hit with visitors due to its newfangled and original concept alongside a serious message of high quality electronics manufacturing.
Andrew Cridland, Managing Director of IO Electronics had this to say “We are serious about doing business in the UK and are committed to producing the very highest quality of manufactured product using the practice of lean manufacturing through to final delivery”
We are extremely pleased to announce that since Southern Manufacturing 2012, a number of new customers have placed their product orders and trust in our hands.
