the traditional seasonal collections might use air transport a couple of times a year ahead of a big launch and on occasions, when really necessary, to replenish stock,” he said. “However, those retailers which have a


new collection coming out nearly every month obviously have a much faster stock turnaround and therefore make much greater use of air freight. We are seeing particular growing demand for air freight GOH (garments on hangers) so products can basically be shipped direct from the manufacturers into the stores.”
