Boom market Forwarders in Brazil are benefiting from a growing number of airlines adding new destinations in the country to their
networks. Among these is Singapore Airlines, which launched three times a week B777-300ER flights from Changi to São Paulo on 28 March last year, flying via Barcelona.
Viracopos airport in Campinas on 16 September, also three times a week but with a B747-400 freighter that stops at Frankfurt on its way out to Brazil and returns to Dubai via Dakar in Senegal. Meanwhile, Dutch carrier KLM (part of
the Air France-KLM grouping that also includes Martinair) resumed services to Rio de Janeiro after a 12-year break, adding three times a week B777-200ER flights from Amsterdam on 1 November last year.
