Flexibility underpins Kuoni's new 2012 Europe brochure, which claims to cater to all budgets. The programme has a lead-in price of £299pp, for three nights in Menorca, but also covers Croatia, Cyprus, France, Monaco, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain and Turkey, with a focus on Mediterranean beach and coastal properties and a range of short breaks and longer holidays. There are also a handful of city


breaks in locations such as Barcelona, Athens, Istanbul and Florence. Kuoni has selected over 200 properties, ranging from boutique hotels and spas to honeymoon retreats like Cap Rocat in Majorca, or family- friendly properties like Martinhal Beach Resort in Sagres, Portugal.


P&O revolutionises Dover route

P&O Ferries new ship, Spirit of France, set sail this February, joining its sister ship Spirit of Britain to make up the largest ships on the Dover Channel crossing. Each ferry has capacity for up to 2,000 passengers and there are three separate vehicle decks, capable of carrying up to 1,000 cars. There is an airport-style retail outlet for customers on a return Channel cruise, with special car parking spaces reserved for its customers. The ship has a Club Lounge with a private outside deck. There is a choice of dining in either The Brasserie waiter service restaurant, with serves British signature dishes, or the self-service International Food Court. The Horizon Family Lounge is equipped with tables and chairs for toddlers and


small children and teenagers can use a sound-proofed video arcade. Standard return ticket prices start
