Cyprus builds a buzz
Get set to capitalise on increased interest for Cyprus following the tourist board’s eye-catching recent ads. The campaign saw the destination on
TV, radio and the side of taxis through- out January and February, in an initia- tive designed to showcase the diversity of the destination from its cities to rural havens to beaches to mountains. The promotion kicked off a healthy start to 2012 for the island, which has already seen numbers up on 2011. Visitor fi gures to Cyprus increased overall by 10.2% during the fi rst 11 months of 2011 with just under one million visitors arriving from the UK. October and November saw 5% and 15% increases out of the UK. For more information on Cyprus train online at:

AGENT INSIGHT Norway Knowledge
As Norway is becoming an increasingly popular destination for short breaks in both summer
and winter, it is well worth visiting the revised Norway Knowledge training programme. Norway offers breaks all year round and with an increase in the appearance of the Northern Lights forecast this winter, the course provides a timely little bit of extra information to help close a sale. It highlights the popular Hurtigruten cruises to the North Cape and skiing ideas for almost guaranteed snow. Plus it has handy tips on how to make Norway an economical destination.
