Extended Hours for Estuary Recycling Centre Swords
Greater Dublin Drainage – All Submissions Considered
The Greater Dublin Drainage Project Team is busy considering all public and stakeholder submissions after the most recent round of non-statutory public consultation. The Greater Dublin Drainage project plans to develop a new wastewater treatment plant, orbital sewer and marine outfall to protect the environment and secure the future economic, commercial, industrial and residential needs of the Greater Dublin Area after 2020. The new plant will be developed in phases and will operate along with the Ringsend regional wastewater treatment works although it will be one sixth of the size of the Ringsend plant.
The next announcement on the project will happen in early summer when a shortlist of preferred potential sites will be announced for further public consultation.
