If you live outside the United States, Cleveland Clinic’s International Center is your link to one of the largest and most respected academic medical centers in the world. Formally established in 1976, the International Center (functioning within the department of Global Patient Services) provides high-quality service and care to all international patients and their families.

Before… Scheduling medical appointments Making hotel or housing arrangements in Cleveland Arranging ground transportation from the airport and securing car rentals
During… Providing a Patient Service Specialist for medical appointments Assisting with hospital admissions and follow-up doctor visits Ensuring patients understand instructions from physicians Arranging leisure activities for the family Confirming and rescheduling airline reservations
After… Helping obtain copies of medical reports/ films after consultations are completed Managing prescription requests Facilitating communication with Cleveland Clinic physicians
Confirmation of travel arrangements Patients or referring physicians wanting to
arrange a consultation with specific Cleveland Clinic physicians, or schedule appointments addressing health issues, can contact the Patient Access Office for assistance. Our Patient Service Coordinators will:
Schedule the necessary appointments Arrange for a Patient Service Specialist Coordinate translation of patient medical records Arrange transportation to/from the airport Provide hotel accommodation Provide a cost estimate for the visit Once appointments have been
scheduled, patients will receive a confirmation packet detailing the appointment information and any applicable instructions. In addition, Global Patient Services staff will assist with hotel and ground transportation arrangements.
