is the only designated Center of Excellence in the Houston area, and one of only four in Texas. The NeuroScience Center at St. Luke’s has received international acclaim for its advanced imaging, interventional and surgical capabilities, particularly with the Artis zeego device, which is used to treat complex neurovascular disease. Last year St. Luke’s opened its Radiation
Therapy and CyberKnife facility, becoming the first Houston provider of CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery. This non-invasive approach treats intracranial tumours, cancerous and non-cancerous tumours anywhere in the body with great accuracy. An improvement over traditional and Gamma Knife surgery, CyberKnife offers treatment with no incisions, anaesthesia or recovery period. It provides an option for patients diagnosed with previously inoperable or surgically complex tumours.

Transportation to and from the airport is available upon request Ground and air ambulance transfer coordination Hotel reservations and/or long-term housing Interpretation and translation services - International caregivers are fluent in more than 20 languages and sensitive to the needs of patients from diverse cultures Daily visits from patient representatives to identify special needs Non-medical assistance Recommendations of world-class shopping, dining, cultural attractions, beauty and check-cashing services Financial advisors will assist patients with any international banking or wire transactions, pre-registration/admission and discharge process, insurance verification,
and billing services. Our commitment to body, mind and
spirit includes caring for the patients’ physical, as well as their emotional, needs. Support services are available to assist with understanding hospital procedures, staying in touch with family members, and receiving spiritual guidance from your faith of preference.
