Central State University hosts College Goal Sunday in 2012
Central State University will serve as a College Goal Sunday (CSG) site on February 12. CSG gives future college students a clear path to federal cash assistance for education. College Goal Sunday is a free event for college-bound students and their families to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for financial aid for post-secondary education.
Financial experts will be available to assist students and their families with forms and answer questions. “This is a
wonderful opportunity to not only serve our students but also the surrounding community,” said Sonia Slomba, CSU’s Director of Financial Aid. College Goal Sunday is a national initiative to overcome one of the major barriers to higher education – covering the costs.
