Portland Yacht Club Board of


Trustees has named Gary Campbell, a career professional in private club management, as new manager of Oregon’s oldest yacht club. He succeeds Fred Carter, who has retired effective January 31. Campbell lives in East Vancouver,


WA and has been manager of Royal Oaks Golf and Country Club in Vancouver. Prior to that assignment, he was manager of the Kitsap Golf and Country Club in Bremerton, WA. He now returns to the boating community. He received early training at the Venice Yacht Club in Florida while attending business school at Florida State University.
