Jungheinrich runs used truck fairs

Fork lift truck manufacturer Jungheinrich (UK) Ltd has announced that it will be holding a series of used equipment fairs across the country throughout 2012.

The events will take place at Jungheinrich’s depots in Warrington, Birmingham, Cumbernauld, Milton Keynes, Sheffield and Bristol between February and October.

Electric and engine-powered counterbalance forklifts, pallet trucks and reach trucks will be available at the showroom events and all models on display will be offered for next-day delivery. Each of the trucks on show will have been rebuilt at the Jungheinrich Group’s specialist used truck refurbishment centre in Dresden, Germany. The rebuild process – considered to be the most thorough in the industry – ensures that Jungheinrich used equipment gives many years of efficient and productive service. Each model comes with a full service history, LOLER certification and up to six months warranty.

“With fully refurbished lift trucks available at around two thirds of the price of a new truck – and, in some cases, up to 40% less – many truck users have found that used forklifts represent an attractive and economical alternative to new equipment,” says Craig Johnson, marketing manager of Jungheinrich (UK) Ltd.

“But financial considerations are not always the key driver and many organisations also choose to invest in

Jungheinrich UK Ltd’s dedicated used equipment showrooms have an online connection to a database covering used trucks available from all Jungheinrich Group subsidiaries throughout Europe, which means the company offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of used trucks available today.

The dates of the Jungheinrich 2012 used truck showroom events are: Warrington – February 8th and September 13th; Birmingham – April18th and November 7th; Cumbernauld – April 25th; Milton Keynes May 16th and 17th and October 9th and 10th; Sheffield – June 27th; Bristol – July 18th.

Jim commented: “This CESAB model is a valuable and fascinating piece of forklift history, and will help our visitors better understand the progress that has been made in technology and safety over the last 50 or more years. We are grateful to CESAB Materials Handling for helping us to add another

chapter to our story about the role of the fork lift truck in worldwide industry.”
