President's Viewpoint
Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe it is 2012, a year that will surely be filled with a lot of activity! It’s an election year (can’t say I’m ready for the relentless advertising), the challenging economy still sits atop our minds followed by healthcare costs etc, etc, etc. Sorry, didn’t mean to start a negative version of a “Partridge in a Pear Tree…” My point being, there is already so much work to be done and the year just started.

As we embark on another year, I take stock of 2011 and what made us thrive. Quite simply, it’s you, our members. You remain focused and determined to make your mark. We appreciate your time and hard work all while continuing to help the CCC succeed and grow.

In 2011, we continued to experience an increase in membership as well as event and program attendance. While having more people engaged in the Chamber strengthens our organization, it also means more voices with more ideas. We are counting on that—we want to hear from you.

I am confident that the CCC will continue to grow and enhance our capacity to serve the business community in the coming year. The staff and the board of directors are ready to meet these challenges and exceed your expectations.

I would be remiss if I didn’t thank some specific members that have partnered with the CCC over the last year. Our organization is incredibly fortunate to work with a number of companies that support our efforts. I extend our gratitude to the 2011 programming sponsors & partners below.

I wish the entire Cambridge community nothing but success and good fortune in 2012!

Best in business,
Kelly Thompson Clark
