Member Big Foot Moving bolsters sales team
Big Foot Moving & Storage, Inc. welcomes industry veteran, Rich McKee, as Relocation Consultant. Rich McKee is a fourth generation mover with 40 years of Boston-area moving and storage experience. He started in the family business at an early age, a business his great grandfather built in 1875, McKee’s Hingham Express. Rich served in various positions including sales, operations, customer service, and ultimately be- came president of the organization. McKee was also an agent for Bekins and Atlas Van Lines and has served a term as president of the Massachusetts Movers Association and been board member for 20 years.
ALL CPA firm announces merger
Chestnut Hill based CPA and Business Advisory firm, Abrams Little-Gill Loberfeld PC (ALL) and Framingham CPA firm, Langbort & Buettner, LLP, are pleased to announce their firms have merged. Both firms will operate from the Chestnut Hill office at 1330 Boylston Street, and provide services as Abrams Little-Gill Loberfeld PC. Enter “Best Shoveled Block” contest
Green Streets Initiative, Mayor’s Office, TROMP, and the US Postal Service are sponsoring the Best Shoveled Block Contest in Cambridge again this year. The letter carriers, who use the sidewalks every day to deliver the mail, will be the judges. Nominations are due on Walk/Ride Day, March 30, 2012. Entries can be e-mailed to:
walk-ride-days@comcast.net or snail mailed to: Cambridge Post Office, 770 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 0239 to the attention of Fran Griffith. You can also call (617) 575-8738 (ask for Fran) with your nomination. Nominations should include name(s), address, reason for nomination, pictures and contact in- formation. The awards ceremony will be on Walk/Ride day, April 27, 2012.
