At the Unicorn we are proud to lead the way in providing access to high-quality theatre for young people with additional needs. This season we have an extensive and exciting range of accessible productions including Audio Described (for people with visual impairments), Integrated Sign Interpreted & Captioned (for people with hearing impairments), Autism Friendly (for people with sensory and communication disorders) and relaxed performances (for anyone who needs a more relaxed audience atmosphere). We are excited to be working with the National Autistic Society during Autism Awareness Month in April 2012.
Assistance dogs are welcome. Please let the Box Office know if you will be bringing an assistance dog to the theatre.
There is an infra-red Sennheiser system in both theatres for sound amplification. Headsets can be borrowed from Box Office. There are induction loops at the Box Office, café counter and Stage Door.
