As we welcome in the New Year I think we are all hopeful that 2012 will bring with it more good news than 2011 did.

Sadly it’s not all good news with the economy, but having weathered the storm so far I think most companies are in a good position to make the most of what this year has to offer.
So what have we got to look forward to? Well for a start we have FESPA and even if you aren’t making the trip to Barcelona then there are still numerous benefits that you can take advantage of. Then of course we have Sign and Digital UK in March followed by Drupa in May.
I think it would be far to say that all three of these exhibitions will bring numerous benefits for the whole industry. Even if you can’t make the trips abroad for FESPA and Drupa you can still expect to benefit from the new products and services which are bound to be on offer at both of these shows - and judging by all the information which I have seen so far there are some great new products on offer.
Sign and Digital UK is also a great place to see all the new and exciting additions to the market and because it is very well placed at the NEC there is no excuse for not attending. I know it can be difficult to take time out of the office but ultimately it could prove to a huge benefit to see all that the industry has to offer under one roof and you will be sure to pick up some great new ideas to offer your customers.
If you felt a bit let down by 2011 then don’t worry. Firstly I think a lot of people suffered so you
weren’t on your own. But more importantly I think this industry has a lot to look forward to in 2012. The year has started with a bang and there is so much happening over the next few months that I am certain that everyone will benefit.
See you next month Tracey
