The new Yard Stik was nimble enough to fly indoors and proved itself

a capable thermal flyer. On my lunch hour one day in rural Colorado it soared for thirty minutes on one climb, and that with the original 14- watt brushed motor! Over the years Yard Stik’s performance and flight times were improved by brushless power systems and lithium polymer batteries, but the basic design has changed little. The Yard Stik is an easy to build, easy to fly model that is at home in your cul-de-sac, gym or school yard. It can turn on a dime, loop continuously from level flight, perform a surprising variety of aerobatics and thermal like a hawk. It is relaxing and rugged, compact and versatile. Let’s build one!
