Kamal Ramsingh holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Natal and a Masters in Business Leadership (cum laude) from UNISA. After 11 years with Deloitte Consulting, of which the last four were as a partner responsible for the Telecommunications Industry Practice, he assumed the position of Managing Director at Simeka Management Consulting (SMC) in 2003. He led SMC’s significant growth over the next few years with strategic account and staff acquisitions in the Private and Public Sectors.

In December 2005, Ramsingh was appointed as the Chief Operations Officer of the listed SimekaBSG, where he served on the Board and Exco and oversaw the operations, integration and growth of Simeka’s Consulting and Applications business. During his tenure, he provided oversight and leadership for all consulting and product implementation services, along with identification and management of the acquisition process and targets. The cluster of businesses under his oversight contributed more than 50% of the listed group’s revenues and profits.

After leaving Simeka in May 2008, Ramsingh acted both as a specialist advisor to several large organisations and as institutional mentor to several growing ICT Services firms. In March 2011, he rejoined Deloitte as Director in the Technology Service Area.
