THINGS TO TAKE CARE OF BEFORE ORIENTATION:


Math Placement Exam All incoming freshman students are required to take the UNF online math placement exam. The exam MUST be completed prior to attending orientation. The ONLY exception to this rule is if the state of Florida requires you to take the College Placement Test (CPT) which is noted in your admission letter.

Writing Exam All freshman students are required to take the UNF Writing Placement exam prior to attending their scheduled orientation session. This exam is used to assist UNF’s academic advisors in correctly placing students in the appropriate English course. Students who have not completed the exam at least 14 days prior to their orientation automatically forfeit their seat in their scheduled orientation session.
