CD431 MEW GULL. Considered by many to be the Holy Grail of 1930’s era British air racing designs, the Mew Gull provides a study in both elegance and speed. This C/L model is made of inexpensive cardboard with some balsa and ply in critical areas, and flies great with a .40– .50 two-stroke. Weighs 78 ounces ready to fly, spans 60 inches. CD429 GULL II. Based on the Comet freeflight model, Pat Tritle enlarged the original dawings to make this a re- laxing R/C model. The Gull II is just the thing for those early morning or late afternoon flights. Model is built of traditional balsa and ply construction, and uses a Tower Pro 2208/17 brushless motor, 20-amp ESC and two 9- gram sub-micro servos. Weighs 13 ounces, ready to fly, spans 50 inches. CD428 SKY STREAK. Inspired by a forward swept fly- ing wing model 50 years ago, Larry Renger finally de- signed his own version. The result was the model you see here, designed for the ¹⁄₂A class C/L. Larry set up this forward swept, flying wing model to fly on either a .049 or .061 and 42-48 foot lines. Plans on two sheets. CD427 OPTION 55. Build it for a glow or build it for elec- tric. Either way, the Option 55 will perform beautifully. Spanning 55 inches this model was designed to fly pre- cise sport aerobatics.
