Dave Johnson releases and Brett Becker’s Electrolyte zooms off the launch rails (above). Brett scratchbuilt this tiny EDF, including the 40 mm fan that propels it. Can do over 100 mph. Young Eric Maglio created his FPV plane (at right, above) in CATIA as a college project. Ron Anderson flew Brian Allen’s beautiful 107-inch model Interstate L-6 Cadet (at right, below). Brian built the 18-pound, ¹⁄₄- scale plane from Jerry Bates plans. Rich Landis made this big Easytiger Models ¹⁄₃-scale Fokker DR.I (below) a frequent flyer. Spans 95 inches, weighs 30 pounds and has a painted fabric finish.
