Ample room in the fuselage for the Futaba radio (above left). Keep the system towards the rear to isolate it from the ignition system. Sullivan pushrods are used throughout. A Du-Bro 32-ounce tank (above right) sits close to the center of gravity to reduce trim changes as the gas is


consumed. The coolant radiator is built up from balsa sheets (below left). It is left open to reduce drag. The radiator is attached after the wing is bolted on (below right). It must be trimmed to fit around the wing mounting hardware. It adds a lot of character to the model’s appearance.


Du-Bro wheels, Robart struts and Spring Air retracts are a very strong landing gear group (above left). If a leak occurs, the gear drops, a great

safety factor. A straightforward aileron linkage from the Du-Bro control horn to the Futaba servo (above right).
