CHAIRMAN, THE LATIN AMERICA TRAVEL ASSOCIATION (LATA)
The Latin America Travel Association (LATA) continues to work closely with Selling Long Haul and is pleased to support the third edition of this dedicated guide for the travel trade. LATA brings together over 200 members, including tour operators, tourist boards, ground handlers and hotels, all dedicated to the promotion of travel to this amazing and truly diverse region. Latin America has something for everyone,
from iconic cities to awe-inspiring landscapes, natural wonders to ancient ruins, and sun- baked beaches to remote mountain treks. And with new air routes and an ever increasing range of hotel accommodation and adventurous experiences, the choice is widening and standards are higher than ever. For help and support in planning your
clients’ holiday to Latin America, check out the LATA website at
www.lata.org. You’ll find a full list of our members, all of whom have the specialist knowledge, experience and expertise to guide you in creating the perfect itinerary for your clients. If you'd like to give something back to
the region that we all love to visit and sell, check out the LATA Foundation's website (
www.latafoundation.org) for information – and some inspiring stories – about some of the community projects that we are currently involved with across the region.
