Northampton, MA, Lodge held a Dinner fund-raiser and raised $4,300 for the Northampton Veterans Council to support a Tribute Tour that will send local WW II and Korean War veterans to Washington, DC, for a tour of the monuments and memorials in the nation’s capital.

Franklin, MA, and Wareham, MA, Lodges held their annual Bike Run. The 51 ride participants began their run at the Franklin Lodge, traveled to
Albion, MI, Lodge donated $100 that was raised at the lodge’s Paul and Russ Hrab Golf Outing to the lodge’s Veterans Service Committee.
Gaylord Area, MI, Lodge held a Golf Outing fund-raiser and raised $300 to purchase Christmas gifts for veterans at the Gaylord VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic.
Faribault, MN, Lodge made a $1,000 donation to the Rice County Veterans Memorial Committee.
Sun City, AZ, Lodge members treated 13 veterans from the MANA House and US VETS Victory Place, two transitional housing facilities for homeless veterans, to an afternoon of bowling at a local bowling alley. In other news, the lodge donated $1,700 to Honor Flight Tucson to pay for two lodge members and WW II veterans, Alexander Spizzirri and Robert Floeder, to be flown to Washington, DC, to visit the National WW II Memorial and other monuments.

In more news, the lodge donated more than $8,000 worth of reading materials, clothing, furniture, and household items to local veterans charities. Among the items donated was a motorized wheel- chair, which was given to the Crossroads, a transitional shelter for homeless people who are overcoming addictions, whose clients include veterans. Lodge members also donated a golf cart to US VETS Sunset Harbor, which is a transitional housing facility for disabled veterans.
